winds of change

In summer, the breeze tells stories--
Parts hot air to brush
the conch of the listener's ear with a touch lighter
than scientifically possible, really
too gentle to be measured on any tangible scale
And it happens quickly
Much too quickly, in fact
to be consciously recalled at a later point in time
But the evocations will remain in a certain untouchable part of
the soul where humans cannot quite delve
but nonetheless makes itself known
when appropriate
or not
And an odd sense of deja vu ensues
Fleeting,
But there.
You are on the right path when the winds point north
and there is nowhere to go
but forward
But you do not know this
of course
Fables suffocate truth.
the wind is paramount in guiding
those who do not see,
gently nudging wayward vagabonds back to the trail
of What-Is-Meant-To-Be and
A slight skepticism will arise
but the breeze will have this foresight
It has come prepared with an arsenal of beautiful moments
to crush your cynicism
to turn you into a believer of what is right in the world
Of what is right within yourself.
